Further information

The course aims to help participants foster their natural authority that results from authentic expression of and respect for their own needs and the needs of the children.
The course is designed for parents, grandparents, foster parents and all those who look after children.
The length of the course is 24 hours. The scheduling of the sessions may be adjusted to the participants’ needs. The most common format is eight sessions, each three hours long, organised once a week.
The course is primarily focused on practical skills training with occasional bits of theory to provide the relevant psychological background. Each participant will receive a workbook containing various exercises, activities and texts embracing the main concepts of the P.E.T. approach. Together, we reflect on real-life situations, engage in role playing to practice various communication skills and provide constructive and encouraging feedback. We work in pairs or small groups. Participation in all activities is voluntary and confidentiality is part of our work ethics.
The number of participants may vary from 5 to 15 and the facilitator adjusts the activities so as to ensure maximum effectiveness.
The cost per participant is CZK 5,200. The price includes the workbook (126 pages) that is a valuable resource to consult even after the course’s completion.
